BEHR - Today Let’s Paint

Paint commercials can sometimes blend together. There’s actors. There’s often a VO. There’s painting footage.
We decided to turn that on its head and make the VO a full-fledged character.

The voice of Behr Paint is now complex and multi-layered. It’s a confident DIY coach but it’s also a little judgey (when you deserve it)!
It can even have imposter syndrome just like you and me. And while it might be terrible at reading a room,
it knows how to make that room look amazing with the value of Behr Paint.

Elevated Social

This was a really fun shoot to art direct. We wanted these social spots to be hard hitting and product-focused but without feeling like boring painting footage.
I created an art direction treatment that incorporated dynamic transitions like portal zooms and rainbow rigs all of which made it into the shoot and final edit.
